Miami Heat
July 8th 2010 was when LeBron James decided on ESPN that he was going to join the Miami Heat. The heat would become the new "Big Three" which where the Boston Celtics, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, and Kevin Garnett. This team is very similar in ways. Dwayne Wade the shooting guard is like Ray Allen, but better. LeBron James the Small Forward like Paul Pierce but better. And Chris Bosh, Power Forward just like Kevin Garnett but arguably a better player. The Miami heat where turned into a losing team to what people are thinking a winning team, since they have three all-stars on there team. But they are not the top two teams in the Eastern Conference, and when the "Big Three" are all on the court together things do work out well. As some of you may saw in the Miami Heat @ Cleveland Cavaliers game, which was LeBron James's old team. When the big three where on the court they weren't matching the defense, and the offense of the Cavs. When one or two of them where on the bench the Heat would go on a big run. Many say the reason is more spacing on the court. But if you have three big team NBA players on the same team, and one thing they all want is the MVP award. Maybe Dwayne Wade would rather take the three point shot instead of dish the ball down to Bosh or LeBron on the low post. But when it is only one of the big three in there is more spacing and more fear of the veterans on the team. So they would pass more the one of them, or will get more open looks, instead of a contested shot. The Miami Heat are holding third place..barley. Even though there have not been reports of not team-like behavior now, think toward the middle to end of the season when the MVP awards are getting close. My opinion is the Miami Heat will have many issues with there team toward the middle or end of the year. I wish them the best.
